It works for me.
I'm an introvert, people exhaust me, and I've already used up a lot of energy just getting through work. So when I want a fuck that is really all I need. I'm not looking for friends, I'm not looking to lose even more energy on small talk with strangers, fuck and goes give me what I need and also give me more alone time to recharge my batteries.
Some people I've had interesting conversations with afterwards but I do tend to start clock watching after a while and working out how to politely tell them to bugger off  |

It depends if there's a trapdoor that removes them when enjoyed 
There's a reasonable time afterwards for you to wind down, so it depends on what you think is reasonable at any given time.
Another pro -
They can save your revolving door from excessive spinning, if the next victim enters as the other leaves. |
