To be fair, I've been recognised even from headless shots! So there's no real reason to hide.
Guess I just don't want my shrek like mug putting women off before I get to chat to them.
I think the discrete censorship is, if anything, just a bit of a flirt. Is someone you know sees the pics I'm sure they would know it's you anyway. Does leave a little mystery though which is never a bad thing |

I'd get recognised in my small town if I just had a black strip over my eyes.
But I do agree in your pics it does give more hint as to what you look like as not all your face is covered. |

We don’t bother with any form of hiding our identities. Anyone spotting us is on here too so it would have work/family implications for them too. The likelihood of them outing us is slim as the risk of them outing themselves would be very high |

Many people have no idea about discretion and would happily tell the world who they've seen on here. People can lose families, friends and jobs because of it. |

Well if anyone is stupid or desperate enough to steal pics of a fatty and her skinny, hairy hubby instead of pics of a hot, gorgeous couple they’re welcome to them |

Pics that give a good impression of build are great for filtering but ultimately face pics are wanted by most people before meeting - even if kept private and sent as you fancy.
No pics is a total loss of opportunity and I don't chase around offsite if they can't be bothered to add them here |

People have their reasons for either, though mainly professional.
Women tend to get away with discreet censorship as they can change their hair, make up and may wear glasses at work. Men on the other hand are pretty much better off with headless pics to protect there anonymity. |

This is becoming our way of thinking too. But we like to keep a little titillating air of mystery

I am totally uncensored in our photos...though you'll never see full nudity from me...we keep Jeff's face and majority of tattoos for friends only pics though as he'd rather not be recognised.
No preference from us either way...so long as you can send a recent face pic on site it's all good

I have no problem showing my face, if i get recognised then its only another user so its not a problem really. Sometimes wander if people hiding there face are hiding it for a reason such as they are being unfaithful and dont want to get caught. I know its not always the case but i bet you get quite a few cheaters on here. Im not one to judge though. |

Very different for a woman I’m sure u would agree.
This site is probably 95% pic collectors and the rest here for genuine reasons.
The possibility of a woman’s pix being nicked and uploaded on to other sites compared to a mans?
Wish the world was safer then we would have no issues either |

You can't rely on other people's discretion, especially if they're non-closet about their lifestyle. Some friends of mine have been scared away from our local club because a couple that they know socially has started going there. The couple in question is open about their lifestyle, and they have been known to gossip about people they've met on the scene.
Also, it's very easy for someone to out you without outing themselves. Print up a few flyers. Put them on local lampposts or the office notice board. Pretend to be just as shocked as everyone else.
Anyone who posts identifiable pics on a site like this risks being outed (if they aren't already out.) It's just a matter of how big a risk you think it is, and just how afraid you are of being exposed. I think a lot of people stay in their swinging closet more out of a sense of not wanting to ram it down other people's throats than out of a sense of shame about what they do. They don't particularly mind people finding out. They just don't want to make a big deal out of it. |

As usual I like to be hypothetical, realistic and slightly devils advocate.
There are many Fabbers out there who have professional careers. Some on EMT’s (executive management teams).
For example. You have a female on here on an EMT or a Doctor, Lawyer or banker.
Now without discriminating that they should consider being on here.
If they got recognised by a junior member of staff, client or patient it could make their job untenable. Therefore people have their reasons for being discreet.
Or perhaps one should consider the ramifications should a friend of your children find you.
Either way. Hiding ones face is beneficial to the more risk averse of us.

"I don’t think a strip across the eyes disguises anyone or would prevent them being copied to be honest. I’m sure if my friends or colleagues were on here I’d spot them with a censor strip. Mrs x "

"I prefer some attempt at anonymity - you are recognisable in your pics OP and that would not suit me.
Hmm maybe the censored strip needs to b bigger"
You may find a blurring app more beneficial. That's what I tend to use and you can customise what parts of the pic you want to blur |

I prefer to send clear face pics in private, to people I've chatted with, got to know and trust first. I would never show my face in here, on public display, in any situation, as it is all too easy for anyone to join this site, peruse local profiles, then publish your pics on social media 'for a laugh' |

I know the fear of being spotted and outed is a big deal for some people but I’m afraid I just don’t understand why.
We’re not doing anything illegal here. All we’re doing is enjoying consensual sexual activity with other like minded adults. What people choose to do in their own (or other people’s) bedroom is nothing to do with their friends/family/employers.
Yes, if outed there would be some embarrassing moments but it would soon pass. Remember, while it’s you being gossiped about, at least they’re leaving someone else alone and that person may not be as strong emotionally as you are |

I guess in a career such as teacher, police, doctors, actors and so on its quite understandable that you would want to hide your face. Not worth risking your job due to your lifestyle. |

Say that to your local swinging Doctor who got outed by a disgruntled bloke in the media. All hypothetical.
Or the Executive Team Member who got contacted via Fab using their real name by a shop floor worker. Real
People have real jobs and public opinion can jeopardise that.
Look at the chaos caused last year when Swingfields was in the national papers. There were lawyers and Doctors on that weekend.
People just need to get real and not try to justify and normalise this way of life. It’s public perception that’s in the spotlight here.

The views this thread has produced, has made me question this. If we're all swinger's from different walks of life and move in all sorts of circles, and were open and honest about it, how more socially acceptable/less taboo would swinging be?

If I was just a single guy on here,I would happily set my face as public.
But because I cross dress and also due to my kinkiness, I prefer to hide my face for public. Although anyone I message with can have face pics.
