the Al Megrahi situation?

Sadness for a man dying?

Gladness for the Lockerbie relatives that they may get closure?

Anger that he is allowed to live?

What do you think please?

Not sure the relatives will ever get closure.

Recent revelations about Libya and "other agencies" show there is much more to most events than meets the eye.

its not black and white for me ... most things arent in my world. It is complex because there are issues of closure, of revenge, of forgiving, maybe of empathy....

Nothing will ever convince me he was anything but a scapegoat to placate. He wasn't the only one involved. Look at the revelations coming out about PC Yvonne Fletchers murderer now.

He is also better off dead -dead men can't lie. Its the living liars in authoritey, this world is splattered with that are manipulating others to do their dirty work we need fear.

The new Libyan leader/s need Western support.. so they trot out a few photos of a man almost dead next to a monitor of some description.... and another man is reported as dead and he's the chap who dropped the hammer on PC Yvonne Fletcher. It is closure.

For the govt, and for the new Libyan govt.

and that will be the end to it because Magrahi was released to secure oil deals for BP, ad PC Fletcher's murdered can never be proven so touting a photo of a dead Gadaffi Libyan cannot be argued with, as much as we'd like to.

dissapointment that he is dying to be fair, id rather he was placed in a prison cell for his remaining life and made to pay, for his crimes rather than escaping by death, to see him in mental and physical anguish is what id prefer.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

My response to it is to wonder how the doctor who gave him 3 months to live 3 years ago feels.

Ditto the doc who effectively let Ronnie Biggs out.

Which reminds me of the worst example (the above two are likely to be genuine mis-judgements) - the Dr who certified Ernest Saunders with an incurable disease, from which he miraculously recovered as soon as he was paroled. That's fucking perjury...

I think he will be dead within a fortnight. Do I believe he did it... Not sure but there is a lot more to it than just him.

God bless all the people on the flight and in the homes who perished.
