I live my IPhone and don't think I could convert to another phone

But for the love of god please please please can apple sort out their shit chargers

I'm about to buy my 5th charger in two years

They really need to make a decent charger for the phones

Does anyone else have problems with their chargers or just me

Google conserve iPhone battery it’s amazing what’s running in the phone background that you don’t need switched on and it increases the quickness of the phone but chargers ok charging leads awful and “strangely” everything on the phone shortly b4 your contract is up

Oh oh I’ve found a good substitute for cables, Polaroid braided from Asda, however they’re expensive. Amazon have Anker braided cables a lot cheaper but still as good

Incidentally the battery on the 8 is a vast improvement. My power bank has become virtually redundant

Yes I like the Polaroid ones as well, they last a bit longer than the cheap ones but I'm constantly buying them as the kids are always breaking theirs x

The Anker ones are just as good and only £6.99 for the 6ft ones, I need the long ones

It’s not the length it’s the thickness that matters .

If you know anyone with access to a 3d printer you can make a plastic clip that holds the wire part of an apple charger in place to stop it twisting and breaking

Get yourself a charging dock or wireless charging...it works a treat.

Getting a wireless charging plate in my new car...no cables needed

Also magnetic chargers work a treat too! Often the problem is the male part breaking in the cable.

With the magnetic ones, the male port stays in the phone, with a magnet on the end, and one on the cable (usually braided). If the cable gets to a point where conventional ports would break, the magnets just seperate. Problem solved!!!

Just piece of information, Don’t use 3rd party chargers or cables on your iPhone please , there is a charging controller chip on motherboard and it’s fails with fake chargers and leaving phone on charging overnight , ??

I think poster is referring to chip in the cables and phone will simply refuse to charge if it does not like cable/chip

So long as cable is Apple certified should charge fine.

Amazon basics ones seem good and usually charge from a battery pack so a bit more freedom than a mains charger

Everything is made to break so you buy a new one.

Especially things like Apple products ....

Don't be sheeple!

You’ll find you won’t go through as many if you don’t go on your phone when charging it.
