"I left my username & a little message in the Hotel Montonette Cork. Anyone ever leave a message before like this & if so, any results?"
Nobody looks at those so I doubt you'd get any results! |

I read some of one on a meet once. So some people do look. I didn't write in it though; even though I'm not religious doesn't mean I don't think that would be rude to those who are. |

"i cant remember the last hotel i was in that had a bible in it
they all used to have a Gideon new testament in them, usually in the bedside drawer. I don't know if they still do."
I always look in the drawers when I'm in hotels lol |

"I wouldn;t deface a hotel bible out pf respect to those who donate it"
Me neither! Just because the bible isnt for you doesn't mean you have the right to deface it or anything else for that matter |

I read some of the old testament in a hotel bible once - pure filth!!
But I guess leaving your name in a number in a hotel bible will yield fewer results than your average single male on fab.

I am staying at a hotel currently, I am going to leave a 10£ gift card and leave that inside the bible, if a religious person picks up to read or if a person looking for extra pillow, he will get a 10er. |

I went to write something on the stationery in the hotel room I was last in but some thieving git had stolen the pen |

Totally agree
Although, a mate of mine did once write "Defaced by Dave" under the part where it says "Placed by the Gideons" |

I used the hotel stationery pad, put my username & web address with the dated it. If someone looks fine if not no harm. But I never actually wrote on the bible itself. |

Well in this day and age I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Koran you find in the draws! And writing in or defacing that could be a very dangerous thing to do! |

As far as I know there isn't a charity that puts a Koran in every hotel room.

When I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam last year they had copies of the European Declaration of Human Rights on the bedside tables instead of a bible, which I thought was a nice alternative.
I still didn't read it though |

I don't think there is either. I think it's a shame anyone woukd deface something that's permanent in a room.
Regardless of religious views the bible is left with a sentiment to help people, not necessarily to convert. It's a nice gesture I think.

If I was looking for an extra pillow I wouldn't look in the bedside table drawer. |

"The Koran wouldn't be put in a drawer anyway
Why?
The Koran should be wrapped and kept higher than any other book "
Hahaha, if I had one that would mean it would have to go up in the attic! |

WTAF?
I am not religious but I am respectful of others views in relation to religion.
Those bibles are placed there for a reason and that isn’t to help you hook up for sex... defacing a holy book? |
