I’m making pizzas.... do you think one red and one green chilli from the garden per pizza will be enough?

Depends how spicy you want them ... I'd use at least 3 of each but I love chillies

I have a very poor sense of smell and even I can smell chilli at the max.

These could be somewhat ‘memorable ‘ pizzas

There are a couple factors to take into consideration before you make an informed decision on this.

A) How big are your pizzas?

B) What is the Scoville rating of your homegrown chillies?

You decide, the choice is yours

"Green chilli is more hotter than red.. "

On what do you base that? If you treat your plants harshly...then as they ripen they just get hotter...so red are hottest in the end.

Go here.

For a list of the 10 hottest.... not a green one amongst Them!

Just eat a small piece to see hot hot they are. Tried this once with a Scotch Bonnet and actually ate the whole lot because it wasn't hot at all.

Does the heat intensity increase as they dry out?

North Devon

The ones I grow do

I dry them out in the airing cupboard. They last for months then, if you keep them in an old jam jar or similar
