i think we should open a thread and every1 that has bad experience with Users on fab should at their name to the list of Fake profile, time waster, and so on ?? what you think about that |

Should be a system with 3 strikes, can be named but the system automatic hides names with ***, first strike suspension for a week
Second strike 15 days
Third strike permanent ban.

Reading this thread dwelling on negativity is a seriously bad experience for a number of reasons....
Firstly the OP has my sympathy for feeling he needs to moan about his experience which probably will only exacerbate his problems
Secondly like many cheery veteran forumites don't have these negative anecdotes...
Thirdly I resent having my breakfast sullied by such cynicism  |

Firstly sorry you had your time wasted OP - can imagine how frustrating that must have been - guess the lesson learned is to try and verify someone is genuine about meeting (via a phone call, prolonged messaging etc) as best you can next time.
Naming and shaming is banned for a very good reason - namely that it would leave the door open to anyone that had a grievance against anyone else to do so regardless of whether a meet had actually been arranged.
I could for example say you'd arranged to meet me but didn't show up even though we've never even exchanged a single message.
Best bet is to block and report the profile to admin who will investigate and take action as necessary  |

Personally we'd never travel that far for a first meet. I wonder what vetting you did before travelling to check them out.
You're not allowed to name and shame for good reason. It's too easy to throw around baseless accusations, he said she said. Report to admin, ideally with content of messages on here arranging to meet and block the profile. |

OP if you don't want people to waste your time commenting on your thread that naming time wasters is against the rules, then don't make a thread.
So you have driven 150 miles for a meet with a verified person who has stood you up, why drive so far, bigger fool you. I guess your balls are aching and your desperate for a shag. Having the type of list you say would be wide open to abuse. We only have one side of the story too. X |

No. Fab correctly imo bans all naming and shaking. Instead the site admin and moderators work on our behalf, in part fuelled by users reporting wrong doing to them.
If you regularly get experiences with inappropriate people, consider your selection criteria and own the problem to your satisfaction
