Why be negative when you can be positive, I have never understood people that revel in the negative side of things, people that just enjoy being nasty, there's an awful lot around no matter where you go, it's okay to have a fucked up head, it's when you have a fucked up heart that your piece of shit. |

There is evil in this world that prays on the accepting and giving. So sometimes the comeback is....undesirable.
Life is about balance, you need as much negativity as positivity to harmonize. If someone chooses to express their negativity in a positive way (or indeed, their positivity in a negative way) through sarcasm, albeit the lowest form of wit but for me the funniest, has got to be better than being truly vindictive and negative?

This I agree with it's the totally vindictive and negative though I want to combat I love sarcasm and use it alot but you can't ignore the amount of people who are completely vindictive there are big portion of the population, but then again if your a vindictive person nothings probably going to stop you being one so I don't know why I'm wasting my time trying    |

It's not a nice feeling being dragged down to someone else's negative level. I walked away from a female friend who works in the same place I do because of her constant moaning and negativity. You can't expect to feel positive if you hang out with negative people. Life is too short to be bothering with people like that x |

That's a pretty crap thing to say,do you never stop and wonder why people have a fucked up heart? Calling someone a piece of shit because of it make's me wonder if you yourself has a fucked up heart.

Maybe try talking to those people you may be able to help them be a better person. I would like that but normally those people are not open for conversation they just want to shut down conversation or have a fight so it's not easy
Maybe they don't like being preached at and being told how they should portray themselves? They don't especially the really racist ones and the violent beaters they are steadfast in their convictions
You need to surround yourself with nicer people I don't surround myself with those kinds of people anymore, but they are everywhere and there are more than you would think especially in the towns

You can't expect to feel positive if you hang out with negative people. Life is too short to be bothering with people like that x"

I always strive to be positive and to see the silver lining in even the worst of situations, and tend to gravitate to others with a similar perspective. I don't believe many can do this all the time, but I do mist of the time.
I think it's unfair to criticize others for having a negative outlook on things. Do we know what they've been through in their life that has shaped their attitude and outlook? A person's personality is to a great extent shaped by the environment that surrounded them in their formative years.
I think everyone in the end wants to be happy and positive, but in many cases, life has dealt them a crap hand. |
