Tick whichever applies.

Badgers... spread T.B to cattle

Try stroking any of the above and then answer the original question.

This is always going to controversial between those that live in the town's and cities and those that live in the country.

I like all of those animals, even the rats, more than some humans. So I'll save the animals please.

Squirrels ( grey ) are like rats with good PR and should be killed on sight, badgers are nice but they have no road sense and foxes are nice but they get a lot of stick for being ginger which is not they're fault

Hunting with hounds is illegal.

Any hounds you heard were not hunting live animals.

I thought that but wasn't 100%sure. They're everywhere at the mo, men with guns and about 30 dogs.. What else are they doing? They always look shifty when I drive past.

Definitely get rid of grey squirrels, American illegals that have pushed out native _eds. But as for badgers and foxes if culling can be proved to be requi_ed then humanely must be the way.

I think you've misunderstood the notion of "vermin" - whilst we have _educed many animal species by interfering with/destroying their habitat, vermin are the opposite of that; they are the creatures who the activities of humans have enhanced their popyulations beyond what would be "usual" naturally. Rats are a good example, as are rabbits.

As with everything in life too much of a good thing soon becomes a bad thing, yes wildlife is pretty but they will breed until they run out of food, weaken the species and carry diseases unless kept under control, we've taken their natural p_edators so we have to do the p_edators job sometimes.

Btw I hold the same opinion about humans, there's too many and we either need to reintroduce lions and tigers and bears to keep our population down or start putting people in pies in shooting season

People still live with lions, tigers and bears.

Mostly those animals are still there because people in nice countries like ours needed somewhere they could travel a safe distance to and shoot them for fun.

The trouble with humans is,we are selective. If I hit a horse over the head with a sledgehammer there would be an outcry. Twat a wasp with a newspaper,no one bats a eyelid. Both living things,or they were.

Once saw a _ed squirrel and that animal is inc_edibly cute, greys not so much. When we lived in Canterbury foxes were a damm nuisance coming into gardens and rubbish bins, as for badgers never seen one alive only seen them on the road as road kill.

My grandmother used to have one of those fox mufflers which I thought was pretty disgusting.

I like foxes, they are really timid unless you’re close to their young in which case they will only be aggressive to protect them. Also my cat is friends with a fox and it’s lovely seeing a wild animal and a house pet enjoy each other’s company.

"What about rats?...

You need a lot to make a coat

Depends, if they aren't causing you any problems they are nice to see around. If they are destroying your property or your livelihood then they are evil little bastards that need to be _educed to manageable numbers but never eradicated.

Tick whichever applies.

When I was a kid the docks near my house were overrun with rats so the local council offe_ed people 10 shilling for each rats tail.......

When the rat was caught is was soaked alive in petrol set on fire and left to run away .... they got about 20 feet a before exploding

True story

"

Trap / kill them yes. Cruelty, absolutely not, no need.

Foxes are NOT timid. They are wary, there is a difference. Keep an eye on your cat for mange, its very unpleasant

I stand corrected. I always thought it was November.

As for foxes being timid, they don't have a reputation for being cunning for nothing.

One thing that many people don't realise that a cat is loved by the fox, but not for the reason the previous poster imagines! When I see 'cat missing' posters I often wonder how many people, especially in an urban environment, consider the fox?

They could be hunting with dogs illegally. Unbelievably it's very popular now amoung scumbags

Lurchers often crossed with bulldogs that can chase and bring down a deer

I'd report the guys you see and let cops sort out if legit or not

Grey squirrels are only in this country because humans imported them, they have no native p_edators to control them.
