Found this clip on the BBC...

It seems people can earn a living from competitive eating.
Is eating a 28oz burger with all the trimmings in nine minutes something to be proud of? |

I missed that...I only watch the Discovery Channel  "
Television .....
What's really weird is I just googled the show and there are confusing reports that he died .....
Including a report he was shot dead,,,,
But there are later reports of him leaving the show and another guy taking his place ..... |

It's repeated daily on 'food network' the one that shows American food programmes.
It's not the worst but anything with Americans cheering has to be switched off. The guy (adam) is alright it's just the stupid chanting I can't tolerate. |

He's still alive, has lost a lot of weight as well, looking very svelte these days. |

I enjoy eating and the thought of just ramming it in not really tasting it turns me off

I completed a 32oz steak, chips & sides challenge, took me a bit longer than 9 minutes tho |
