£380 Million .....

250 possibly... but he has left it late with the possibility of chinese owners because they have clamped down on money leaving the country.... and there is only so much middle eastern money going around...
I could see your next owners being american.... could definately see an NFL owner or and baseball owner wanting to buy.... but i think they would need to understand the culture of the north east, and thats where ashley failed miserably... |

The figure quoted is a pittance in comparison to the cost of three of four mid priced premier league players ....

if we are comparing newcastle to arsenal for example..... on top of what newcastle bring in, arsenal for example will have a bigger shirt/stadium rights deal, they also get a bigger amount of prize money, they also get money coming in from european competitions and european tv rights
the profits are larger therefore the value of the club will be higher.....
do i think arsenal are worth the 1.5-2 billion .... nope, but you may have to pay that to get an owner who doesn't want to sell to change their mind..... |

How much profit do they make...20 million?.
Let's say you could double profits to 40 million.
