I'd say you are doing something wrong either on profile or messages. I find getting a reply on there much easier than fab.
Different sites with different expectations from the ladies. I think being on fab it can make you too eagre to get into sex stuff on pof. So you bring it up way to soon. It's just tayloring your approach to the site and having different expectations is what's needed.

I was on there but got banned for life for asking the admin why I couldn't talk anymore to a lady who was 7 yrs younger than me they decided that it was to much of an age gap and therefore not allowed I could of understood if she was 16 and I was 50 but she was 30 at the time but got banned as I pointed this out to admin on there and that was their response |

I came on fab when it first started, left for years due to relationship and back on now.
I would say that women are a lot harder to meet or get any reply from now than about 9 years ago when I quit the site.
Saying that I don't think it's fair to blame the women. They have to develop a tough skin on here and other sites because guys are getting ruder and pushier. The anonymity of the Internet is also breeding a much nastier behaviour where people say things on here they wouldn't dare in real life.
I have in the past set up a fem profile with no real details or pictures on. Not to waste time but to see what women get in their mailbox so I can make my messages stand out. Never replied to anyone and only had the profile up a few days.
Is an eye opening experience to see the crap women go through. You get swamped with messages minutes after opening. Mainly the same 4 messages or variations on them. And some are almost scary how the guys think they can treat a woman.
I think as a of thumb guys should re read their messages beside sending and think what would they think of it if it was theur gf/wife/sister /friend getting that message. Would you still send it then? |
