went shopping and the card shops are full of christmas cards. toy adverts all the time on the kids channels my daughters watchin. i swear it gets earlier each year. |

I still haven't paid for last Christmas yet .....
Gonna be lean times this year so all the advertising in the world cannot make me spend what I ain't got. |

I like to put my decorations up just before yule.. and get them down just after boxing day..
Its to commericalised.. I hate that its all about how much you spend.. not why you buy what you do..
My kids make cards for all the close relatives.. as do I for my Master and my Dad and sister...
TO be fair I celebrate on the 21st more than the 25th.. I let the kids dad have Christmas and I have yule.. 
but to be honest I hate seeing anything christmas related till at least mid November.
