No, for a lot of people it's the best way - especially for guys who have a hard time standing out from the crowd. If you have a good personality the forums will help you show it off.

For a 1-1 rather than a group social or club meet? Yep, a handful. But one was from before I really started using the forum so although we now both do I don't think that counts as a 'forum' meet. The others are no longer on site, or are rarely in the forums these days. Not my fault, honest! |

Obviously, they’re my personal reasons but if I had to name the main one I would say lack of privacy, although there are other reasons.

I don’t think I said that Bee did I?
They’re most likely not meeting with others from the forums though. The vast majority of Fab users don’t stumble into the forums and most of the people I interact with don’t visit the forums at all. |

Yep. My current partner uses them (well not so much now) for my sins. Some of the meets have been great, the odd one not so. People I've met at socials have generally been more awesome than I thought would be.

I've been to a couple of socials and I have met a few Forumites for sex. However, you need to have thick skin if you meet Forumites for sex, a lesson I learned the hard way. |

Yes, with this profile and the couples one I am part of, both for socials and otherwise
The forums are a great way to get to know people and see the person beyond the messages and the profile |
