My friend had that problem. Just go in to the network provider and ask then to unlock the sites. It only takes 2 minutes

Central

It's likely your network not the handset. Contact them for adult site permission

Yeah, I can't access this site across 4G anymore. I used to be able to. I've not switched networks or anything either.

Is there a way of getting it back without having to physical go into a shop??

Phone your provider, they have turned on adult content filters. Prove you are over 18 and ask them to remove the block. No need to go into a shop, takes a couple of minutes is all.

But before you do that.. are you sure you are on 4g and not a WiFi hotspot, most of those now block adult content too.

I had to go in and ask them to unblock all adult content. Doesn’t take long, it’s not like you’re buying condoms and coming out with toothpaste like

You can either phone or go into a shop - it's just adult content and they're used to people asking for it to be removed. Don't be shy, we're all adults

again... hello.... this use to be a big problem with EE and O2 where the adult lock would go on for no reason...

so you can ring them up and ask for the lock to be taken off... if they ask you what sites you are trying to visit just tell them you are trying to go onto a betting site like paddy power...

or, for some reason, If you download the Opera mini browser app on itunes..... it for some reason gets rund the block and you can view fab swingers from there!!!

If it's Vodafone, you can log into your account and add/remove blocks online (whether that's 90xx numbers, premium text number or websites).

I'd have thought other providers have a similar set up.

i feel like i am having one of these moments where you give people the an answer to solve the problem but some people keep wanting to ask the question....

the simple answer is basically don't use safari and replace it with Opera mini....

All Vodafone shops have brown paper bags as you come in the door for customers to put over their heads so they stay anonymous when requesting adult filters get removed

Ha! Yeah, this happens all the time on social media - I tried to offer my advice in simple format, and letting the OP know he had no reason to be ashamed

I think with EE you can change your filters yourself if your on contract. PAYG means going into a shop or calling them.

Thanks.

Just takes up more memory doing that, that's all.

I'll give O2 a call when I can..

A lot of IS providers have switched this on by default even for existing customers and without any communication. You can get the block taken off by phone or in person in a shop. You can also get round it with a VPN. As pointed out above the opera browser has one buit in.
