I don't have that problem. I have a regular partner who lives a ten minute bus ride from me, and another who is about an hour and a half by train and tube.
If I drove I would drive for 3 hours if I were staying the night. I'd possibly ask to meet them half way for a tea first though. |

I also don't know your home life situation so it makes making a solid answer quite difficult. Why not get a hotel and stay the night. Surely if you're inviting him or them to your home,i'd assume you've spoken a fair amount before hand?. As well why even start talking to someone who lives so far?. Most who message me first are usually not my type or distance etc is an issue. So with me initiating contact then i know that the distance isn't gonna be a problem. |

Cannot afford hotels and plus have work the next day so cannot travel more than 20 miles away... |

Bottom line for all of this is location, location, location. I lived in London all my life and you never need to travel more than an hour in any direction to meet someone - we all use public transport anyway and there is LOADS of choice.
I could have slept with a different woman every night of the week sometimes - I didn't due to a lack of interest/energy to do so!
Now I'm in Norfolk, it's a whole different ball game - everyone uses a car out of necessity, and people are MILES away so you have to travel more than I was used to. |

i know loads of people that commute to work , a 2 hour commute into london for example.
so a 2 hour drive to a meet means nothing to me .
if you like the look of who you are meeting put the effort in .
and if they cant accomodate , book a hotel ,
i do.................. |
