So moving house yesterday wasn't such a great idea! I'd been waiting for the date for almost 5 weeks and then was told everything was going ahead on Friday 13th 
Yesterday morning with everything packed and ready to go, I get a call to say someone up the chain has pulled out so my new house is no longer for sale, but I'd had such a good offer on mine I couldn't really back out, I take the decision to sell and go through with the exchange. With nearly my whole life packed into a van, trailer and lorry, the lorry decides to catch fire 5 minutes after leaving my old road.
Luckily, the removal guys have extinguishers and are able to put it out before it gets bad, but with the lorry going nowhere fast and blocking a main road, the police are called and two fire engines turn up for good measure.
After the initial stress of having nowhere to live, and then almost watching most of my possessions go up in flames, I think I've calmed down now, although I'm sure I've grown a few more grey hairs lol. Plus my bank account looks pretty bloody amazing right now lol
