In 2009 the young people of Iran formed what they called the Green Wave hoping to influence the religious government of Iran to embrace small cultural changes .....
Neda was a young girl who got shot in the head live on TV during a march she wasn't even attending ,,,,,
The whole world was horrified by this image....
The president of Iran at the time was a guy called Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.....
Petty much every sentient person on the planet supported the green wave
Allahu Akbar was sung every night in tribute to Neda such was the support she was given a hashtag on twitter...
Shelley's friend Mike Scott of Waterboys fame wrote song in tribute to Neda's name ...... which did ok ...... but wanker Bono of U2 realised his tribute single a week after Mikes and it reached Number one across Europe
