There's a game I have on the PS3 which you can add your own faces and buzzer noises to.... it only ever gets played when the lads come over for a drinking session. The last time we played it, after spitting my drink across the floor and laughing so hard I could hardly breath, I had tears rolling down my face for a good half an hour.

Lots of things do. When i read about people who are kind to animals, like when a dog has been mistreated then it finds a new home with nice people.

The Truman Show's Ending:

Where he discovers his world was a complete illusion, but stumps up the courage to venture into the unknown despite the lure of the familiar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G91mXQ1LTow

There is also a scene in a film called Sunshine.

Where the Captain sacrifices himself:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clG_1sqOsBs

And the soundtrack is so powerful:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWlXU2DeYkQ

I didn't cry exactly, but each time I see those scenes powerful emotions crawl under my skin and I feel proud of humanity and their sacrifices to pass the baton.

I felt affected by this, a thing of pure statistics, but deeply profound.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbkSRLYSojo

In a similar way, but different.

"I cry alot but rarely happy does that count"

I heard a story that men cry when feeling down, but women cry when feeling frustrated. Is there any truth to that or is it hyperbole?

Although they are not tears of happiness,,,, when I see the determined resilience of special people as they strive to take on the unfair challenge's life has cruelly given them, I weep tears of humility at their heroic example.

The ending of It's A Wonderful Life.

I love that film, and can understand why it is allegedly used as a tool to help people with depressive illnesses.

Its currently X factor, i find myself willing on people, pre-performance to be good and i just well up when 10 seconds into their song i find myself saying, "Yes their bloody fantastic", the Liverpool auditions, the big lad for example, that was superb!!

Is it me being happy for them? Or a kinda tension gone when you realise they are good? dunno

It's the formulaic approach used by the whole production company - from sob story searches to dumpy scruff comes good in public to the background muzac and the overacting of supposedly surprised judges.... Get's me there every time
