Yes it was childish. But a bit of karma and a laugh for us guys at work.
Been working nights this week to cover for holidays. The night shift are a great bunch. 9 of them in all including the Manager. But the night time security guard is a right jobs worth. A young lad with ideas far above his station. The title "security guard has really gone to his head"
All staff have lockers in the security portacabin which you go through to sign in/out before entering work. All mobile phones have to be left in your locker. All personal goods such as sandwiches have to be taken inside in a clear plastic bag(provided)
On leaving work we are wanded with a metal detector, on camera and sign a search register. Due to the risk of theft of the high value products we distribute, such as mobile phones.
So. This night security guard always takes it too far. Always asking you to lift up your trouser legs. Lift your t-shirt, making feel like you are in prison. His attitude stinks (unlike the others). So we decided to teach him a lesson. We all set our phone alarms at different times, on a fifteen minute snooze. My alarm time is "south park's, Kyle's mom's a bitch". The variois alarms went off all night. He was most unhappy, asking us to turn off our phones. We just pleaded ignorance and laughed up our sleeves.
