In many years people will dig up our remains to study our way of lives. Assuming the planet's still here of course!

So what possession of yours could you bury, and really flabergast the archaeologists of the future with? Mine's a keyring with morph and a Lego Chewbacca on. Deitys of the people of 2017 no doubt

East Sussex

when I was studying archaeology we had to write an essay on what the archaeologists of 1000 years hence would make of our artefacts. It was a lot of fun to write.

I wrote they they would assume that we sacrificed small animals to our gods by the amount of burials of hamsters, cats etc wrapped in cloth

Probably that I'm one of the few people that still writes with a fountain pen, they'll think they've got the era wrong

I'd like to dug up in 1000 year's time buried with my Michell Orbe. I would guess most modern archaeologists would have an issue knowning what the fuck it was lol, let alone one's in 1000 year's time

I'm sure they'll be deemed normal in 1000 years

Nah, they will be unreadable. In 1000 years USB3 will be ISDV 203. No one will have any means of reading your dodgy pics lol

Judging by the amount of waste they would find buried on land and found in the rivers, seas and oceans, that our skin and body parts were made of plastic, that we lived and breathed it and worshipped it!!?? The plastic generation but not fantastic enough to stand the test of time!?
