Are you a prolific ironer?!
Do you iron things like underwear and socks?
Or are you like me and not iron anything unless absolutely necessary (which seems to be once in a blue moon ) |

Hi, I'm J and I'm a recovering ironaholic
I used to iron socks before pairing them and even t towels weren't safe from me. Nowadays I tend to only iron what gets seen when wearing them |

Ironing is my least favourite job and I won't iron something unless it absolutely needs it.
My mum used to iron everything and still gets upset because my dad insists the sheets on his bed don't need to be done |

"Why do people iron tea towels and underwear? "
so they can do that weird thing that my ex sis in law used to do...stand there looking put-upon, saying 'im sorry the house is a mess'..when its spotless, and proudly show off a mountain of ironed baby clothes, tea towels etc...as if they were some sort of achievement...it's not 1952 anymore! |

Underwear and socks are overkill. Everything else is game will usually put something on netflix to accompany my ironing runs |

Thanks but no. Hang them up when you take them out of the washing machine and the creases tend to drop out. |

My good lady iron the kids clothes her clothes and folds mine really nicely but never irons them when one day I plucked up the courage to ask why this was she simply asked would I iron hers and the children's clothes?
Enough said I'm a plumber I don't need my clothes ironing lol
I do wear the trousers in our house honestly |

My ex used to do the ironing when we were together. Ex armed forces and it had to be done a certain way so left him to it.
My grampy used to like his hankies and y-fronts ironed |

I'm with you OP. I avoid ironing unless I absolutely have to do it. |

Used to iron everything, socks and pants included and then would find a pile on the floor where they had been thrown instead of being hung up and put away. Now just iron as and when I need too. Xx

I iron my work clothes everyday and all other stuff only when I need it.
I actually don't mind ironing. I find it's a good time to think and I often find myself daydreaming a lot whilst I'm doing it. |
