"by someones username?
We think your choice of username tells us something about you.
"
No. All it says to me is that the first dozen you tried were already taken! |

I have to say yes for me it does...
I've been put off a number of times in the past by user names which suggested something relating too or someone's with a preference that I don't share...
Of course this my have resulted in me missing out on meeting some good people... but by the same token perhaps it also saved me from meeting people I may not have clicked with too....

there have been names that have really made me cringe... and in a way it does say a bit about a person... where it was be a deal breaker so to speak... probably not
I had this rule when I use to organise socials... If you are big enough to choose a name, then you a big enough to wear a badge with "name" on it... you would be surprised at the amount of people who wanted something else on it because of what they had chosen.... |

I dont really find peoples usernames put me off.. some do make me smile though... and that itself may make me look
but I have seen people getting grief just because of their choice of username....
there was a girl I did talk to for a while that was on here as Daddysslut I think it was... now I understand what her name is ... and knew it wasnt wrong or as others assumed..
So I think that it can cause issues.
oh actually..... I had a guy contact me that I hit the block button because his name was actually offensive.

Yes it does, but not always because it's offensive. For example I'm a Domme that only played with straight, single, white sub men. Therefore a user name like bimarriedblackdom wouldn't appeal. |

Try creating a profile name, heck of a job, practically anything of use has gone, your have to use none letters to make up part of the name...
Even yours has a 1 at the end. If I was to think hard about it, is it a second profile as you left once or do you have 2 profiles

Yeah... I'm still a bit miffed about having to put a "Y" on the end of "Sox" just to get by the 4digit rule.... I mean.. ffs ... that "y" makes me look like a right woosie!!! |

Anything along the lines of the following: -
Camfun, Phonefun, Wellhung, 9incher4U,
Luv2lick, CumKing, Submale, Banker...
etc, etc, |

A username doesn't put me off, prefer to get to know the person and the thinking behind the name.
I actually used the abbreviated version of mine for here and very few could pronounce it, spell it or work out what it meant.
No chance of me changing it now seeing as I have it tattooed on my back |

No, we've only got this profile, and have only been here once, signed on about 3yrs ago. Jackandkate1 was our name from another site and so just signed on here with it too.
There may well have been another Jackandkate, but it wasn't us |

Yes it does put me off but I have been pleasantly surprised at times when guys with very graphic usernames have turned out to be very different.
But on first impressions then LickOutYourCunt wouldn't have me overly enthused.
By the same token I'm not that keen on very obvious usernames - BlackpoolDave45 prevents me from using my opening line 'name, age, location'. |

Some names dont appeal to me, will be honest. Having said that I have found on a few occasions that once you get talking to them, they are really nice people and they just chose a name which (unfortunately) does not appeal to me. |

Yes, I think that overly sexual site-names can be off-putting.... then again, I only meet through the chat rooms, so I don't want to type names like 'LordWanksALot' every few seconds LOL
Then again, it's mostly men who have these 'amusing' site-names ..... I think it comes from the same part of the brain that thinks making farting noises under their armpit is funny LOL |
