Op. It's hard to write something original, and most stuff has already been written and some stuff inspires us, so I'm not that fussed about reading the same things often, but...the arrogance in some profiles is what I really dislike, the lists of demands that they want from someone, what you should look like from skin colour/length of cock/how many tattoos/what job you do, and I thought I had little chance of finding the woman of my dreams?

It grinds my gears when an out of shape, unattractive, post wall woman makes very specific demands as to a mans appearance.

Lets say I'm a 5'4 male and I'm fat and unattractive. And then I start making demands that a woman is fit and below 5'4?

It's ok lol. And it's fine to have preferences but when a persons sense of self worth is wildly inflated they begin demanding things of high value while offering nothing in return.

I go to the gym regularly, eat well, have an awesome career, dress well, take care of myself and yet I remain humble. I don't ask for anything other than a woman who isn't overweight, which I think is fine since I spend a lot of time lifting heavy weights.

No, I don't believe for a second that the woman in question was able to pull a gym fit man, given her appearance. And if she was, then it's proof of hypergamy, in which men will and do fuck down, and women only fuck up.

The reason this grinds my gears is because the abundance mentality exists in attractive people (which makes sense) but because of the proliferation of social media, the internet etc, women now have a platform in which they can make ridiculous demands. And some of them, (probably not the woman I am referring to) can have these demands fulfilled by only meeting men who are actually above their sexual market value.

So essentially, sites like this and others have inflated many a woman's sense of self worth to the point of delusion. And it's the delusion that grinds my gears, not that a woman CAN actually fuck a man who is more attractive than her.
