London Zoo, the kids loved it and they even got to hold a tarantula skin, which is still spider shaped, though obviously I waited outside as there's no way I could have even looked at the skin of a spider.

Every time I've taken the kids though there's always some bloody animal having sex and I'm having to move the kids quickly along when they've said 'look mum they're hugging each other' - bloody exhibitionists those animals are. I think the apes are the worst offenders.

I seem to remember enjoying a good day at Knowsley Safari Park over in the North West area,,,

All the animals seemed well looked after and housed in spacious enclosures..

I'm not great a fan of zoo's as such, but I realise there is a need for them and I'd give this one the thumbs-up..

Link is too their website

Dudley Zoo used to be an annual treat for us when we were kids.

Even had a Killer Whale at one time too.

They had all the big bears, and the big cats too, but not sure what's there these days.

Only bugbare was that it was on a hill, the fortifications for Dudley Castle.

There's a ski lift/chair lift taking you from the entrance up to the castle.

Don't do zoos..If I want to see wild animals I'll go to their natural habitat, what there is left of it.

we love chester zoo and knowsley safari park kids do too.

been to blackpool zoo wow must be over 22 years now and didnt really feel the love lol vaguely remember going to london zoo but dont remember much so it couldn't have been that good lol.

we have been to the welsh mountain zoo and that was good too. never forget the comment my mum made when walking around pushing my nan in her wheel chair " wow its really hilly and steep in some places"

we just looked at mum and asked if she was kidding, what did she think it would be like with it being called 'mountain zoo'.. my mother can be soo thick sometimes lol
