so day off :- washing, shopping, deep cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms - dusted and wiped surfaces - hoovered and mopped - made a heap of soup in the slow cooker and just done the ironing whilst watching grand designs -  |

Work... first, having to go in for a staff meeting on my day off.
Secondly, having booked the week off around my birthday early last month and being told by one manager that my holiday had gone through properly, but then I checked the rota today and I'm down to work the day before my birthday, my actual birthday, followed by two days off and three days paid holiday which wasn't what I asked for, so now I have to go down again tomorrow to sort it out... once again, on my day off. |
