Are you a touchy feely type person like when chatting to someone you touch their hand, Knee, Shoulder etc,
It winds me up when out drinking and someone usually taller puts their arm around my shoulders when talking,
and I've always found it a little creepy when watching Pointless and Ben Shepherd gives a lingering hug to the final contestant |

In general no. Being short I get it too and it makes me feel uncomfortable.
My friends are all quite touchy feely but gave up on me a long time ago. They might get a wee hug before we part company but that it.
With a partner im the opposite though. I love snuggles and touching and holding hands. |

I am with very close friends and family but not in general! I don’t like people getting too close or touching me when I don’t know them that well ( not in a social situation anyway) lol x |

I'm not usually touchy feely at all (unless you're a cat). I need my own personal space and always find it very awkward when people I don't know choose to greet me, for example if they're being introduced, with a kiss on the cheek. If they hug me as well I freeze even though they mean well as I don't often feel very comfortable at all with reciprocating. Far worse is when total strangers choose to invade my space or decide to literally manhandle me out of the way rather than say excuse me. I find all of that quite stressful to be honest.

I'm a hugger. I love a hug.
I love holding hands.
I love the touch of another human as long as we're both on the same wavelength. I couldn't hold hands with someone I know is lusting after me if I didn't feel the same, but I can hold hands with a mate who's just a mate. |

Yes, it's just the way I've been since young. But I do sense out people before groping them - always in a very socially responsible manner. It somewhat depends upon the culture you've been immersed in, as norms vary by region, nation as well as being a city or countryside native. I don't know many people who are less relaxed about social touch and I spend a lot of my time with young people who typically have higher levels of physical contact compared to the more elderly |

I'm very physically affectionate toward wife and daughter but beyond that, no not even with parents and siblings.
I was saying it to the mrs the other day, i don't remember seeing people hugging as much when i was a kid, and it seemed weird to me when they did. seems like quite a modern thing to me but maybe i just mixed in the wrong circles!

I like being tactile and light touches during conversation like a brief hand on the knee or arm is a nice sign you're getting on well but you have to respect people's boundaries and read the signs |
