I have a face picture as my profile picture so it's already there to be seen.

So they can avoid you if they know you.
They have more to lose by someone outing them than a single guy does.

As I have a face picture on my profile it makes no difference to me, it's just a little thing that when I read a profile that demands a face picture and they do not have any themselves makes me want to scream... Lol

How do you delete a thread... Seems my point has been missed.

I get your point - yes it's a bit of a nerve, but because women are so outnumbered on here they can get away with it. I don't share my face pic straight away, so I never demand one until I am ready to swap, usually after a brief initial chat. |

Dunno, my answer would only be a guess. Ask them who do that.
My thoughts are, they want to see your cards before they show you theirs. So, i guess it's upto you if you want to play that game. |

Some people are hypocrites. It's not illegal or even forbidden. Maybe, just maybe it's irritating but then that would depend on your personal standards for accepting different types of behaviour. |

Unfortunately, as progressive as we believe we are as a society.. sexual liberation etc. Judgement and shaming of women for having an adventurous sex life still holds. Men can explore without worry about sanction.

I prefer to see a face before replying or sending mine. I can't send a face pic to someone who hasn't messaged me yet, so they have to send it with their first message.
I know I won't be stalkery or tell people that someone who know is on here. I can't be sure that someone else won't either. As I was followed to my daughter's flat by someone who recognised me from my face pic I no longer send first. Just in case we don't end up meeting. |

For me a simple answer would be that I need to see if I’m physically attracted to that person before playing the ping pong message game, only to find I don’t fancy them. I’m happy to send a pic with my reply if all is good.
But on another level, I’ve been stalked by a guy to the point I had to threaten to get the police involved so I tend to be more wary.
Up until yesterday I had a picture of my eyes in my public pics and got a message from a guy this morning on my kik whom I’d never spoken to from Fab. I don’t know how but he’d managed to find a pic of my eyes on fb then get my kik name. Very unnerving and hence the pic of my eyes are not going to be made public again. The two pics were actually different pics of my eyes yet he still managed to find out information about me.

I have no problem with people asking for a face pic with the first message as long as they follow the same rules themselves, what does annoy me is people refusing to speak to people with no public face pic when they don't have one. |

I prefer a face pic from the start because I’m not here for friendship, I’m here for sex, friends with benefits is great but I need to know if I’m attracted before anything else can happen, as a single woman on here I can receive a tonne of messages every day and trawling through them all can be a lot of work so I will use filters to narrow it down and one of those is attraction from the start, I don’t post a face pic on my profile because I prefer to be discreet, I work with the public and that’s my preference, if I like the look of someone I will happily send a face pic back but if I don’t I will explain this and apologise before blocking, it may seem harsh to block but 9 out of 10 will try to talk me around so it’s just easier personally, we all have our reasons for doing what we do |
