Twins - do they do it on purpose?

I saw two identical twins yesterday, exactly the same clothes, exactly the same hair, even exactly the same beards.
This got me thinking.
Do they do it on purpose to cause even more confusion? Do they have a meeting prior to going out to decide how to look? Do they go to the barber's at exactly the same time? Don't they have a sense of individuality that would make them want to look differently from each other?
Any identical twins on here care to shed some light on this? |

I don't expect they do it to cause confusion. I used to work with a pair of identical twins - adult women who lived together, wore the same outfits, the same glasses, had their hair styled exactly the same way. They were polite to other people but had such a close bond with each other that they didn't seem to want or need anyone else - they never socialised on their own, or went for lunch without the other. If you spoke to them they'd often finish off each other's sentences without giving the impression they'd interrupted or spoken out of turn. It was almost as if they considered themselves two halves of one person. I do think they were perhaps quite an extreme case though ... |

"Their Mum still dresses and grooms them by the sounds
I'd hate to be a teacher with identicals in my classroom, I'd be rubbish"
That they live together is a possible explanation. I can't decide whether i find it sweet or creepy. |

There and to the left a bit |
There's plenty of evidence of identical twins that have an innate sense of one another at all times e.g. one of them is in pain and the other just "knows" it without having contact - so perhaps it's just an extension of that innate knowledge that they think alike, therefore dress alike etc.
The other possibility of course, and possibly the more logical one, is that if they were bought up that way by parents who always dressed and styled them the same, that as they grew up it just carried on naturally that they would continue to do so. |

"Imagine how good sex would be with them both... one starting you off and one finishing you off without even being asked
Hahaha "
My deviant little mind was thinking along similar lines, only they were on separate dates, then going home to swap notes & high fiving each other for fooling another unsuspecting victim. |

My identical twin sister is on here, I'm sure she'll be along eventually.
As kids our mum would dress us the same, sometimes different colour but the same outfit, other times dressed identically. As we grew up we rebelled against it and developed our own identities and style.
We do have similar taste though and have been known to go out shopping separately and end up buying identical things. There have even been times where we have bought each other the exact same Christmas present! At one point we owned several items of clothing the same but would always let the other know what we were wearing if we were going to the same place.
In terms of hair, mine is much longer but the shape and cut is similar as it's what works well with our hair type.
As for seeing children dressed the same, I absolutely HATE it! People forget that twins are not just a unit, not just "the twins". They are individuals and should be treated as such. |

Hi sis, waves
We do have similar tastes in clothes and have often turned up to an event wearing the same thing.
That reminds me, I must send a photo of what I'm wearing for the wedding we are going to at the end of the month lol.
We stopped buying each other birthday cards and gifts when we were children because we always got each other the same. Most years our mum receives identical mothers day cards despite the fact we live some distance apart now.
The whole feeling each others pain thing is real too. When we were kids if one of us had toothache the other one needed the dental treatment.
We were accused of cheating in a science exam at school aged 12. We had written down almost identical answers word for word. I was in room 1 and she was in room 8 along the corridor. |

I’m an identical twin (younger one) and we stopped dressing the same when we were 7 and told our mum we weren’t doing it anymore.
I don’t get why identical twins still dress the same as adults..... we are individuals albeit with the same genes.
My twin is on fab too. I introduced her to it |

We both found our way here on our own. I was here first, a friend told me about the site after seeing me on another adult site.
As for "twins thrill" if I suspect it's what I think you mean then absolutely not! As I said at the beginning of the thread, twins are two completely different individuals, even though they may look similar. My husband see's so much more in me than just what I look like. The fact that someone else looks very similar to me doesn't interest him at all |

Ok, to address the "elephant". The people who get the twins thrill are those who don't know any twins well and watch too much porn.
Do you have any brothers or sisters? Could you imagine getting physically intimate with your sibling or does the thought of it make you want to heave? As much as I care about every member of my family I never want to "play" with any of them, I find the idea to be sick .
I choose not to view my sister's profile on fab. I have no wish to see intimate pictures of either her or her husband.
My sister's husband is a lovely man and I'm delighted they are happy together. Would i ever fancy him? Never in a million years. We are both individuals and we have completely different taste in men. |

Ok ok get the picture and yes understand the inncest sickening idea but i was meaning more from the other halves perspective and yes the porno perspective is the imagination isn’t it not the cold reality but still A person can dream of being shared by twins ... I know plenty of sisters who have had sex in the same room as each other or shared blokes for laughs... not so much each other... but yes accepted unlikely porno scenarios!!!
