I was a shift worker for 12 years, now got a cushty specialist daytime weekday role but I'm doing a shift Friday night to keep my skills and for some extra money. Complete sympathy for you x |

I mistakenly said ‘don’t let the bed bugs bite’ to my daughter when she was 6. I spent every bed time for the next 6 months showing her there was no ‘bed bugs’ in her bed before she would get in....... |

That was obviously after the nightly spider patrol ritual.
And another top tip for parents of arachnophobic children, don’t pretend to eat a spider after you catch one!! It took me 2 hours to calm her down and convince her I hadn’t eaten it |

See my pics you will see I did shift work,Could sign on at any time from 0001 to 2400 for a turn that could last anything from 5 to 12 hours.Now strictly day work unless invited to do a night ! |

Mine can bounce around from early to late or late to early within a few days- got a lovely week coming up with three twelve and a half hour shifts a ten and then a 3am start on a sunday- not got a free weekend until December...and i'm only saying that as the December shifts haven't yet been published |
