I found Cry Freedom, The Year of Living Dangerously and Salvador, alongside Mississippi Burning, pivotal movies in stirring my political interests when growing up. |

Amistad is a film I’ve only watched the once, very disturbing scene in that which I won’t go into but I did walk out the room during it. |
