I check out trolleys to see if I have forgotten something. Sometimes I think they have bought way too much processed food and crap, but it's their body not mine |

Nah. I hate grocery shopping so I'm usually just running around as quickly as possible.
I do judge the way people walk and generally move about in grocery stores, though. Always in my way! |

I've caught myself doing it a few times. Probably shouldn't but can't help it, there was guy the other day on the phone talking about his dieting and then had all sorts in his trolley. |

I'm guessing you OP.
I don't actually look in trollies as more often than not they are a jumble of poorly placed food items. But I like looking at conveyor belts and seeing if people organise it in a sensible way because that makes me happy. And it helps with meal inspiration. |

I judge the standard of the trolley driver all the time. The folk that block aisles to engage in social discussions get the forefront of my wrath, along with those who double park while staring at a particular item for an hour before deciding they don't want it. |

I like it when I feel someone wanting something from the shelf which I am standing in front of, and I can sense their impatience behind me. I slow my movements down, fill up more space, sway from side to side and then point at items and ask their opinion. Whilst smiling unnervingly at them, over my shoulder. |

Nah, I'm too brash and American for that. I rudely ask people to move when I want something they're blocking.
Although a study once found that people take longer leaving parking spots when there is another car waiting for the spot. You fit this statistic perfectly. |

Food delivered for past few years, wouldn't want to goto one of those awful supermarket places again. But when I did to be honest didn't pay any attention at others trolley's unless it was overspilling with food or stacked up about 7 feet high and they were right infront of me in the cue!! |

I sometimes drift off looking at the conveyor belt only to be summoned back to earth when the folk in front put on 20 loaves of bread or something like that.
I wonder "what's all that for, where are they going to put it"?? and then the cashier can't find the price thingy and i quietly weep over my frozen chicken at the delay.
I hate shopping. Detest it.

I saw something today in Asda and it's been on my mind since and I actually think it's quite inappropriate.
There's a caterpillar cake, it's been around ages years in fact but today I noticed a girl version with pink icing and pink smarties etc. The girl caterpillar cake was called Bonnie and when I looked at the boy one it was called Clyde. I laughed in the shop and my daughter asked what was so funny about the names so I just said they were cute. Should I have said hmm it's just that they're named after two prolific armed robbers & serial killers! |

Having used to work in a supermarket for a long time I did get to know who only ever bought junk and those who bought as much organic as possible etc.
I do mine online! |

You can tell the experienced shoppers from the conveyor belt organisation. Heavy stuff first, tins, bottles of water etc then maybe your washing powder and some cleaning products, your fresh fruit and veg, your meat then your soft stuff, your breads, crisps, eggs. |

But what gets my goat is when the cashier feels somewhat insulted when you say you don't need a hand to pack, they seem to chuck your stuff through really quickly to try and beat the rate your packing and make you feel some regret that you didn't accept their offer to help. |

I organise my conveyor belt with precision and logic (heavy, cold etc.) but I have been known to be especially embarrassing in supermarkets when shopping with others. Buying a really odd and often inappropriate selection of items just to hear the thoughts whirring of those at the checkout. Starting ridiculous arguments for fun so people think they're earwigging on a domestic. Shopping is boring so I like to inject some fun into the proceedings. |

I get some very judgemental looks when we're walking around Tesco, usually after hubby has put a dozen multipacks of chocolate bars in there and they see this fat woman pushing the trolley
I sometimes feel like grabbing the frylight, mullerlights and 50 pounds of slimming world friendly speed veggies out and shoving it in their faces while saying this is my share |

"No, I get trolley shame "
Me too!
Supermarkets make me feel like I've had a lobotomy as soon as I walk in the door
I buy loads of stuff that doesn't go together and loads of wine.
I feel sure that people are thinking " look at that alkie she only eats dry cereal with tuna"

"No I don't trolley judge but I listen to the numbers. If someone's shopping is triple figures I'm gutted for them, if it's a normal shop"
I know that feeling, I only need a few kilos of coffee beans and a couple of days supply of vodka and triple figures every time, if I buy wine and food as well it gets silly... sometimes I leave out the food to keep the price down |

I tend to judge how people drive their trolleys and how they park them while perusing more than what’s in them
Unless if someone had 4 bottles of lube and a marrow in there, I might give an impressed nod in their general direction. |

I'm not a snob but I'll pack my own bags thank you. There is a common sence order to it.
It's nice of the offer but who the fuck stands there looking at their phone or through the paper while the checkout person, 'beeps' your shopping before packing it for you. I couldn't do it, so I pack my own rather than be akward. |

You can expect a hard stare, and maybe a telling off from my wife. I have printed your confession and attached it to the new telly, HiFi, phone, and other items I bought since her last visit home |

I do have a look in other peoples trollies & often have a laugh at their balanced diet - trolley full of fattening foods & then stop off for the diet cola
Also, those who look as though they can clearly afford to pay waiting in anticipation for the pasties and pies to be marked down to 20p or whatever - then buying as many as their little hands can gather together. In fact, it got so bad that one of the shops now takes mark-down items to the back of the shop to do the pricing, before wheeling them back out.
Aldi is my favourite to wind up though. They love to throw the food down the conveyor belt at you & I, like others in the thread, have a system of packing. If it's being thrown at me with sufficient vigour, I'll really have a go-slow moment when I'm packing until it's backed up so much they have nowhere else left to put anything & so they HAVE to wait for me to pack some bits to make room |

We do click and collect so as to avoid grocery shopping however if we are behind another car when they are loading their shopping in we do watch with interest. Today the car in front had a load of alcohol and baby formula which certainly made us smile |

I always use the scan-it-yourself handset so I can scan stuff as I chuck it into the trolley, and am usually in such a rush to get the feck out of the supermarket I don't even glance at what others have in their trolley.
However, trolley rage is an issue for me! Can't beat the assholes that leave their trolley blocking the aisle whilst they are mooching over what pasta to buy, and people that barge into me usually get a sarcastic "oh excuuuuuuse me!".... |

I always look at what items the people loading up the conveyor belt, infront of me have.
I do sometimes wonder, how many they are feeding and if it's a weekly shop. Some of the trollies are literally bulging and come to £200+

My Saturday shop, coffee beans x 2, vodka x 2, tonic x 6, lemons x 6, beer, bag of crisps, pork pie. Was over £100. And there is the possibility I may need some more food before the end of the week. |
