In this weather I am loving the massive pants, opaque tights, body, pinafore dress layering personally. That and over the knee socks but I always prefer them over both stockings and holdups anyway. |

"Suspenders. Holdups either don't hold up or hold up but the top bit always rolls down and digs into my fleshy thighs so it looks like a bit like they're a Sunday joint tied up with string."
that last bit made me smile. Exactly the same happens with me

Winter is awesome, knee high boots and thick tights with woolly dresses.... Perfect |

It depends on the outfit and the situation...
I love both...they make me feel sexy, but if I'm wearing them all day, I'll always choose suspenders, just to make sure they stay where they're supposed to

Neither.
I’ve spent hundreds of pounds over the years to find anything that’s vagely comfortable, stays in place without adjusting every 5 minutes and doesn’t make my thighs look like a trussed joint of meat.
I wear them for photos and meets but they don’t stay on long and I have boxes and boxes of stuff that can’t be worn. |
