I used reclaim, they take 10% but it’s the cheapest around, Mrs used one that took 20%, she got over 14k from Barclays but had a big wedge taken from it, you can do it yourself of course, I don’t know at the time though, still, it’s a nice little gift at the right time of year. |

"I have a workmate who boasted like mad about having £5k in PPI. He's not the brightest as he didn't realise he paid the money out in the first place!"
Surely it's only like getting a refund on house or car insurance that you never needed to claim on. |

"I have a workmate who boasted like mad about having £5k in PPI. He's not the brightest as he didn't realise he paid the money out in the first place!"
You also get interest from the date the PPI was incorrectly sold. We claim £2600 back from a building society, received a phone call a week later saying they had forgotten to calculate the interest and were getting an additional £2k |

Regretting it now I could do with a little windfall "
At no point was it ever mentioned to me when applying for loans or credit cards all those years ago, only down to the Mrs doing it I thought I’d give it a go myself. |
