"Credit cards? They’re also on them too."

Isn't that just if you don't pay in full though?

We claimed back thousands and it's so easy to do it yourself - definitely don't need anyone to do it for you and claim a % of your money

"Who did you go with? "

I used reclaim, they take 10% but it’s the cheapest around, Mrs used one that took 20%, she got over 14k from Barclays but had a big wedge taken from it, you can do it yourself of course, I don’t know at the time though, still, it’s a nice little gift at the right time of year.

Preston

Just started mine, can't think of the name of the company but they're taking 20%. But if I get £500 then it's £500 that I wouldn't have had if didn't complete the forms.

Let's see what comes in.

I have a workmate who boasted like mad about having £5k in PPI. He's not the brightest as he didn't realise he paid the money out in the first place!

Same here, we're too switched on financially to take out unnecessary protection payments

Surely it's only like getting a refund on house or car insurance that you never needed to claim on.

You also get interest from the date the PPI was incorrectly sold. We claim £2600 back from a building society, received a phone call a week later saying they had forgotten to calculate the interest and were getting an additional £2k

At no point was it ever mentioned to me when applying for loans or credit cards all those years ago, only down to the Mrs doing it I thought I’d give it a go myself.
