My 6yr old lad was out on his BMX after school, its a full size bmx not kid sized one. The time came to put things away, and for some reason i had the idea to show him and my 3ry old how daddy could do wheelies on a BMX. Perfect stance and balance and the front wheel was up... and up... and up... and there I am... flat on my back! I must remember I'm 44 not 14

Anybody else had any unfortunate incidents while trying to show them 'how it's done' ?

Hopefully you've not done yourself a mischief.

Nothing like that here, i did once fall and do a backwards roll off my sons bed onto the floor and wedge myself between the bed and his bedside cabinet when i was changing his bedding and lost my balance. Poor lad didn't know whether to clap or laugh.

I scraped my underarm on the bedside cabinet as i went down and it really smarted but i had to be brave

Only a bruised ego, at least it made my kids laugh.

Few years ago I showed my kids how to jump down an inflatable slide, dislocated right shoulder

A few years ago I tried showing my girls how to do a handstand against a wall - like I used to in primary school. Problem is, I'm a a fair few stones heavier than I was when I was 10... my arms couldn't take my weight and I smacked my face on the carpet, resulting in a nasty carpet burn on my cheek bone.

Friends looked a bit disbelieving when I told them how I got a carpet burn on my face! "Yeah right! Nod, nod, wink, wink"

Broke a friends 15yold sons ankle and wrist playing 5aside football.

He was showboating and went past me twice and called me an old man so I put him in row h with a old skool tackle.

My ex wife did the same thing, in a swimming pool

Me n a mate were mucking about chucking a yoga ball at each other in the garden, just as I chucked it his gf shouted him and he turned, gym ball got him upside his head, knocked him unconscious, dislocated a shoulder when hitting the floor, and had an epileptic fit

My ex told me that once, completely different context though.

I have thought of wearing a warning sign on occasion
