Hi Folks
I saw something in a profile somewhere (yes I do read them... even yours!!) saying that they don't accept friend requests from friend collectors. My question is this, who uses the friend function just to keep tabs on people?
I don't send out very many at all (again because I read profiles) but the ones I do and are accepted I really want to keep in contact with that person. So thoughts and observations welcome...
p.s. a further point to this question, if you have the friend contact, how many people use them to actually chat regularly with the person?
Cheers! |

There's always the hot list function to keep tabs on a profile
Our friends list is for friends, people we've met and know. Some we'll play with some we won't. Some we'll chat to but would like to chat in person with |

I use the friends function as a friend's function! People I have met or those I talk to regularly. I never send friends requests randomly, only if I have been chatting to someone for a while. Those that I receive? Random requests get deleted. |

There and to the left a bit |
There are some that see this as an adult Facebook and will send friend requests to all and sundry.
Personally I won't send or accept a Friend Request unless it's someone I've chatted to or met in person and expect to have "regular" contact with - now that "regular" may vary from several times a week to just occasionally dependent on the person.
The Hotlist is what I use to keep tabs on people for various reasons. |
