What do you define as a "Catcalling"?
What do you think of it in general, and the people that do it?
If you'd like it to stop, how would you prefer people behaved in the event they found you attractive? |

I've seen it done a lot in the building industry thankfully not now tho. Never seen the point of it myself it's not as if the persons going to turn round and give you their phone number is it? What's wrong with just giving someone you find attractive a nice warm smile? |

Like all communication, it can be misread. It could be frightening or alarm someone, so a relaxed hello or smile is more engaging. Having a big group of men direct their gaze at you may intimidate or raise your sexual energy. Fear, anxiety, nervousness and excitement all share much of the same energy base - but someone's history or personality can bend things a certain way.
If guys want to interact with strangers, it's better for them to get out to where it's likely a comfortable environment that is probably less intimidating for someone. I've liked catcalling sometimes - it can be a bit of a lift to get it, a breath of unexpected fresh air |

I don't do it myself but don't mind being on the receiving end  .
Had a few car honks and shouts in my time  .
That being said I don't think it's a good idea for a group of males to catcall a single lady at night in a dark alley if you catch my drift  .
