Well, I am 37, have had messages from profiles that are much younger.. But either I have had a very easy life or they must have had on massive paper round as a kid.
I realise it's all reflective, but never having had any decent body confidence I can't be sure if it's either I am not seeing myself in the way I think k I am, or that I am much "younger" looking than I give myself credit for. |

Not on my pic.. (yeah.. Heavy shadows.. Not that identifiable) but in general. People not looking anywhere near how old they are. |

I'm honest. My age is my real age. Don't see the point of lying really. I've met people in the past, where I thought I was meeting their parents lol. Also had people with age range up to 35 message me - why?? I'm 20 years above their cut off?? |

Their age range might be just a guide. Sometimes people have narrow age ranges to cut down on mail. They might really fancy you as a person and not as a number (age).  |

I got a message today from someone I'd have guessed was at least 15 years older than they claimed. Sorry guys, but I've noticed that it is usually *men* who seem to lie about their age. It really puts me off when it's (almost certainly) obvious. |

I think most people are rubbish at guessing ages. Or at least pretend to be in an attempt at flattery. The people I have met who have admitted lying about their age (and from my experience men are far more likely to) didn't actually need to lie other than possibly getting through filters by doing so. I didn't bother changing mine when I joined; I don't think I look my age anyway and I'd rather people were pleasantly surprised. |

I'm quite happy to tell people my age.
Most can't guess.
On here my profile states my real age which puts me outside most peoples age range.
But local people put me at 10 years younger!!!!

On another site I,m on the men are using the same face pics they were using nearly 4 years ago and Christ knows how old the pics were then. One man I chatted to admitted his photo was of a 10 years younger much slimmer him.XXX |

Sometimes I’m very surprised when I look at pics
More often than not I think people are younger than the age they really are
I’m 44 in a matter of weeks and like to think this lifestyle keeps me on my toes with making an effort to look good , wearing sexy clothes, enjoying life etc so maybe that’s something to do with it ? |

I just turned 46, yep real age and now the wrong side of 45..
It's human to round things up or down, so I have now dropped of another handfuls radar.. (who am I kidding, probably wasn't on it to start but I can always dream)
Now I'm 46, I feel no different from when I was 45 or 40 for that matter (other than I recently started making an involuntary groaning noise when getting up from a chair) so I fully understand why some would alter their age slightly just to fall within others age limits. |

I am honest about my real age on here, no point being otherwise. Someone told me at the weekend that they thought I looked 33....how I laughed .
My daughter thought I was 28 until about 3 years ago because that's what I told her (she's 9 now) and still goes on about how I lied to her. Anyway, we are how old we are and we look how we look...not much we can do about it, apart from plastic surgery and I personally don't think that helps in any what |

I'm useless at guessing someone's age but it wouldn't bother me if someone was a few years older or younger then what was on their profile,
