First day back at work after 6 months off. I though oh great this morning. I can't wait. Just 2 hours work today. Was barely in the door to work and got a phone call to pick my little girl up as she was sick. My neighbour picked her up for me. Not to bad I think to myself. Finish work and go out to the car. It won't start. Only got work done on it the other day. Great more money I thought. Call the pick up service and decide to make my way to the train station. Only to get there and realise that in all the panic i left my purse in car. Stressed.com
So tell me hows your day been ? Better than mine I hope. |

That sounds like a nightmare day. Hope it improves.
I called in sick, spent the day in bed, feeling sorry for myself. First cold and its knocked me sidewards. Ordinarily I man up and carry on as that's what mums do but I just have no energy in me. |

Whilst out delivering on a warm Saturday morning..nice bit of overtime..I got my van stuck on a hairpin bend on a mountain side.
traffic halted coming off the mountain,,traffic going up the mountain had to be diverted by the police,,two recovery trucks arrived and..after emptying my (red)van,,they shackled and chained my van around the trees to inch it forward..crushing the front bumper and headlights in the process..
One of my customers rang me and asked where l was because she was expecting her delivery of cheese..
I explained that as soon as I had been recovered I would deliver her cheese as it is perishable..
Reloaded my van and was driving into the city centre when I thought."my God..what's that snell.."..when I had emptied my van I had plonked her box of cheese into a steaming pile of dog shit,which was sliding all over the inside of my van..
Had to take her box into the market and wash the shit off it..then take my van to the garage which repairs the red vans..and steam clean everything.. In the meantime,my wife is on the blower wondering where I am because I was supposed to be taking her out..what should have been a pleasant morning earning a few extra quid turned out to be my worst day ever..I can still smell the dog shit now..ugggg.
