I understand only chatting to people within a certain radius due to travel, but can you live too close to someone? Had someone once that lived in the same town say I was too close, whether it was because I might know someone they know or whatever, who knows |

"I'd not want to meet someone from the same town as me purely to avoid any possibly awkward moments in Tesco!!
"
Exactly this. Although I do seem to have gone to the extremes by having a fwb 160 miles away! |

We routinely block any profiles in our town, too many people who don't know how to be discreet and where we live people love to get into each other's business. I don't want to be having people giving the old nudge and wink on the school run or at the shops. |

"If they're adults and not drama queens, no, nobody could be too close. Ideally, I'd enjoy it if they lived next door. "
I'd be forever hopping over the fence if you did! |

Yes you can live too close. Personally we would love to find someone local for regular meets but wouldn't turn up on their doorstep unannounced. Not everyone feels the same though. Was chatting to a lovely couple then they found out we were a couple of streets away and said it was too close for comfort. Its each to their own and how comfortable people feel |

No I really want local!
But I did meet someone a while back who was erm ....
A bit odd... and it makes me shudder to think I went there
And I do see him on occasion ( awkward!)

When I first joined fab it didn't bother me if someone lived in the same town, Infact someone who i had regular meets with and became my partner only lived 2 streets away from me.
Now I wouldn't meet anyone from the same town as some people think it's perfectly acceptable to come up to me when I'm with my kids and try to talk about fab |

I had 2 great meets with a guy who lived 15 mins walk away. It was so convenient, as well as he was lovely, but unfortunately he stopped all contact with me so maybe HE thought we were too close to each other? I will never know. |

Getting a meet here is like hens teeth - yet I've turnes down meets from people I consider too local. Dont want any "fatal attraction" type scenarios.... |

Now a certain person has resorted to putting up statues about me telling people where I normally socialise and what I look like |

Local playmates are fabulous when everything is going great, but if/when things finish it can be bloody awkward seeing each other at the shop or around town. I prefer to keep things away from my hometown for that reason. |

Yes.... Have only ever met someone once who lived within 15 minutes drive.... and I ended up with a stalker...
Aside from that... I like to know someone makes the time and effort to meet me... That they genuinely appreciate our time together, that I'm not just the convenient shag |

Well here goes, we played with a lovely lady at a club a while ago and being the nice people we are we offered her a lift home at the end of the night as she said she was local... turns out she lived in the same road as us !!!! Literally 100 yards away |

Most definitely, I don’t want to bump into a guy in Tesco or my local pub after we’ve had sex with me dressed as a girl. People always say they’re discrete but keeping such secrets is another matter |
