Tredegar

I’d rather boil my balls in chip fat that give up drinking. We work hard and we chill out having a few drinks. I’m not giving up something we like doing for the satisfaction of others.

Movember can fuck right off too!

Same here.

No chance! Talk about your dreams - I remember dreams more, or maybe they’re more vivid I dunno - when I’m on the wagon.

Lol how about enjoying it moderately during the entire year rather than getting smashed on a regular basis? If you need Sober in October it sounds like you have in general already a quite serious alcohol problem...

Guilty as charged now, what are we supposed to drink with our roast beef today, now that wine is off the menu?

Why does having a drink a couple of days a week have to become "getting smashed" and having a drink problem? Why do some people only see 2 extremes and nothing in between?

If you haven't lost any weight then you can't have been drinking too much in the first place imo. A little tipple isn't going to hurt. Sounds like you weren't doing sober october anyway though. Hope things don't get you that stressed again though!

thanks. I love proving people wrong.

Yesterday watching football in a pub surrounded by friends and people drinking, I realised that the social drinking isn't the issue, it's giving up something I enjoy. That's where the will power comes in I suppose.

I barely drink, but I did have a glass of wine last night during my two hour dance around the living room with my daughter,to get things out of my system!

It wouldn't be a problem for me if I did do it.
