Just went to my local Co-Op and my ex who I was with for 6 years was there .. tried to make a swift exit but she clocked me ... awkward!
We ended on bad terms .. she was a cheating whore! And she always tries to be nice (chit chat) anyone else have to deal with these situations ? Next GF will not be a local gal!  |

I feel your pain... I say pain but it’s no longer pain as I’m well over her.
I moved 70 miles to be with my ex of 6 years.
We never lived together and I had a flat the next street.
I basically brought her young son up but he had his own Dad.
I know not many round here.
We split a year ago badly and she is already with someone else.. I see her walk past going to the shop and regularly have near misses when I go to the shop but what can you do., I don’t even attempt to talk or make contact as it’s over.
Not easy and at first it ate me up and killed me inside.., but you get numb and deal with it.... I just have fun now

I see my ex Monday to Friday because we work together
It was an amicable split so there’s no animosity but now I really don’t have much to say to him.
He’s almost become a stranger to me.

I get to bump into mine every time I go into a swingers club along with the woman he was meeting behind my back when we were together  for some reason, despite me telling him to fuck off and leave me alone, he insists on trying to chat to me at the bar. Maybe I'm being too subtle |

If my girlfriend cheated on me, and I bumped into her, and she tried to talk to me, id just shrug and walk off.
It wouldn't affect my mood, get me down, i just wouldn't have time.
If it ended on good terms I would just treat them exactly like any other person I bumped into and chat with them before moving on with my day. Wouldn't feel akward about it.

But just tell her you are busy or in a rush and walk off. Or tell her that you appreciate her attempts at being frienly but you have no interest in making smalltalk with her |

That's probably because you have childrenwith him etc ... you have to be civil!
I don't and never will approve of cheating. How hard is it to call something off! Soon as they do this I lose all respect for them. As I treat people how I expect to be treated. |

I met my ex first husband for the first time in over 20 years in April at our daughter's graduation ceremony.He was the cheater, he has a new partner there, she was very nice. Unfortunately he gave me a cuddle because my mum had not long died, I saw the look of horror on his new partners face. We got on rather better than ex,s should and it didn't go down very well with everyone else. My kids from my second marriage get really angry if I talk about him, as their dad my second husband is dead. The didn't mind the FWB stopping overnight though. Funny thing the ex thing x |

I have a similar story, but add in 8yrs of marriage, 2 children, her leaving me resulted in me having a mental breakdown and slashing my wrist 3 times in front of her, 4 months in a homeless hostel, being near her gives me anxiety. Mon-fri I have to take my 2 kids back to what was the family home, and hope it's her fiance who opens the door. |
