I've aleay thought it ironic how woman weren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia get that countries oil products enable men and women around the world to drive. |

Yes, in a modern, forward thinking society, it's absurd for women not to be able to drive.
The bus services just don't exist for them to be able to do the shopping, fetch sewing supplies and still fit in cleaning, child rearing etc.
Good to see they are taking steps at modernisation.

So true, soon women everywhere will be able to go to work 40 hours a week to give most of their wages to someone else to raise their children, just like here  |

They're not allowed to drive, their not allowed to go hospital or be seen by a doctor unless they have a man with them they're not allowed to go out in the street with anyone other than a father, brother, or uncle.
But as always humans are very versatile and the Saudi women know how to get wat they want |
