We have an iPad one and love it. Great for kids as so easy to use is so natural to get to grips with.

Id have a look at the samsung Tab 10.1 though, had a nose and blows the iPad 2 out the water.

My son was lucky enough to get an HP Touchpad when HP announced they were selling em off.. Way quicker than our his iPad and easier to use. Give it six months and Android will be available for it!. Look hard enough and you can still find em... (and @ £115 for the top one )

Given a choice though, anything with Android is the smart choice. Not held to ransome by Apple and the Windows system is just a bit too shaky at the moment. The Android system is faster than the Apple and as Android grows, it will get more and more apps...

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I can't give you comparisons, but what I like about the Blackberry playbook is:

Size - it's small enough to carry around in a jacket pocket, big enough to be usable.

HD - both screen and HDMI are fantastic.

Connectivity - WiFi signal is strong, or it can connect to a blackberry phone's 3g signal

Admittedly, there is a lack of apps, and some functions are still on the "coming soon" list, but that's to be expected with such a new product - and already seen is the capacity to install Android apps.
