Just watched the first 2 episodes and it get a s up from me,
I like the story line and its coming across a little darker then previous Star Trek series,
I just hope we don't get to many flash backs |

I finished the first series a few weeks before the second aired. I wasn't sure there was going to be a second series. |

I watched it, wasn't that impressed. I hate pretty much everything about the new Klingons, the way they look, the way they sound, how their ships look and what they've done to the Bat'leth.
There were a bunch of ridiculous contradictions, characters suddenly acting completely out of character and they seem to have just decided to completely abandon the established canon. I don't think Gene would recognise it as Star Trek at all, which is surprising since his son is supposedly an exec producer.
Oh, and the biggest, most heinous crime of all: bloody lens flares bloody everywhere!

Frankly, this is the better choice, The Expanse is brilliant, probably the best sci-fi since the new BSG. |

Forgot about this thread, led me to start my Netflix again. Yeah, I am also in the fan camp. Let's hope they keep the story flowing quickly, nothing worse that a slow plot line.
