we're on the train back down from the summit of snowdon and while up there we only see to the end of our noses due to cloud

The view from the crane cab is very disappointingtoday today the A40 flyover loads of grefity and the railway tracks. No nice ladies today at all. But the plus side Iv got the sound of the Nottinghill carnival.

This reminds me of the Faltey Towers clip where Basil goes off on one... when a female quest complains about the view she has from her hotel-room window,,,,

"Well, may I ask what you were hoping to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window?"

"The Sydney Opera House Perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeests sweeping majestically across the plain"....

Oh.... sigh..... it's seemed so much funnier at the time.....

Sorry O.P. I did laugh. It's Wales. It's weather..... it's nature. Nowt guaranteed. From the train you wouldn't have seen much anyway.............there's a fuggin' big mountain in the way xxx

I was very disappointed with the view in the mirror this morning.

Somebody had hung up a picture of a git, so I couldn't see myself.

Get to work and discover that I missed a chunk of face while shaving.

I thought that was deliberate. Its called a Goatie, and I am sorry to say you have been doing it for a while
