By precious I don't mean expensive, just something that's precious or important to you.
An old lover of mine gave me little plushie of Stitch - as in Lilo And Stitch - dressed in earmuffs and a scarf to stop me from stealing his Stitch cushion for the first Christmas we knew each other in 2011, and that teddy has been in my bed 90% of nights since then. He also bought me a journal for that Christmas, and I've consistently kept journals ever since. |

Princess and the Mrs gave me a stuffed bunny that they had sprayed with their signature scent so when they aren't here and i miss them I have something to soothe me to sleep. I had proper feels when they gave me that. |

I have a random flower that I was given a while ago by Mr... it was from somewhere I always count as ours.. And out the blue as he doesn't do romantic gestures.
Secondly is a big teddy he saved and gave to me x |

Great question OP and I'll ponder some more as I'm sure over time there's been a few
I'm going for recent years (someone I met from here) gave me a book & it really touched me because not only was it a subject I was I interested in, a common interest we had together but it was totally unexpected. |

I guess I'm supposed to say my children but honestly? A Lego pirate ship.
It was the exact one I had wanted as a child and she tracked down a brand new, never opened one and wrapped it in Christmas paper. ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

It's hard to choose the most precious as there are a few things that spring to mind. However, I'd have to say the most precious was him getting me to the hospital in time to say goodbye. Time is one of the most precious gifts I think anyone can receive. |

I don't see my children as a gift from their Dad, we both played our part (although as the female my input was clearly more significant)
A physical item, I would have at one time said my engagement ring, not because of the value, but because of the symbolism, a promise to one another.
But since becoming a down trodden cynical old hag I'd have to say it was a cactus he bought for me not long after we got together (16 years ago). This thing and I have a love hate relationship, I kicked it once (don't ask) and got a septic toe because of it. The needle that popped out of my toe a week or so later would have been worthy of its own YouTube video .
But the weirdest thing was after we split, part of it died (I did nothing to it, I neglected it the same as I always had). It's still on my kitchen shelf and for whatever reason, that's where it willl stay. |
