How long is being a little but timid cute before it becomes a problem? Like how do you know their boundaries?
Should it be like a pool, dip your toe and dive in or should you wait?
I'm assuming it goes by the person but I think you can get a general idea by having an over all average view.
This is talking about meets. |

"Eh?"
I am slightly nervous in terms of overstepping a boundary of someone, mainly in drop of a hat meets.
Some people just get right into it, I've walked in dropped my pants and the fun began then other times it's been a slow working process.
So it's made me timid, some people have said it was kind of cute. Then others said it was the reason they didn't do anything.
How do you get the balance right? |

It becomes a problem as soon as you don't want to put in the effort.
I wouldn't be pursuing that person for long.
It might be cute in an early stage of life. It is absolutely a pain , a block, a killer of fun on a swinging site.
First time nerves understandable.
Just saying NO ..... perfectly okay.

"So simply ask them what you want and make it clear what they want.
On the counter what if their being timid? "
Either the person you are with will want to play with you or they won't.
If you are giving out vibes that you're not sure if you want to play, then they should respect that and leave you alone.

Then MOVE ON.
Timid people give me the shivers.
