it took my old fella, got a tumour in his head, now he's basically meat porridge in a hole there are few if any words to express the shitness of cancer.

Cancer took my wife five years later a fellow fabber rescued me

There is life after the scars it leaves us with

but with time we can smile a genuine smile again!!

Sorry for your loss, I have lost Friends and family to this, I think most people can empathize with how you feel. There is life after it. The pain doesn't go but it gets easier to live with.

My son had testicular cancer 3 years ago, had chemo. Had his operation on same ward his dad died of cancer on. Worst time of my life.

I can totally relate to you in every way there I used to feel like that my heart was so closed I never wanted to love again and then something changes when that very understanding person comes along they seem to be given the key

I think in my case it helped me greatly as she was a fellow fabber

To feel those feelings awaken again well it's scary every lump and bump makes my blood run cold but we're getting there

Don't think the fear of losing a partner will ever leave but I hope it continues to lessen
