Mr here.
Am I the only one who finds staying in shape now really hard ?
Spent my entire adult Life active and taking part in various sports.
Now as I am approaching 50 I am really getting frustrated by thing's that used to be a piece of piss, now struggling.
With fitness, strength and mostly weight control.
I work really hard in the gym 4/5 days a week (and yes I know what I am doing thanks), eat a healthy balanced diet drink in moderation.
But I am doing nothing different to previous years yet the waist is growing.
I understand that our metabolic rate slows drastically as we age as does testosterone levels.
But this past twelve months I have seen a lifetimes worth of hard work and dedication virtually disappear.
Any other guys my age have same problems or any handy tips?
I have recently started to ramp up my interval sessions.
But have seen my endurance ability really drop.
I used to be able to manage 2k on the concept 2 in just under 7mins 30 fairly comfortably (well it was hard but achievable) now can't quite get under 8:30.
